HubSpot Integration

Last updated: 9 June 2026

Kyosho is an AI notetaker and sales coach for sales reps. It records and transcribes your meetings, then uses AI to summarize each call, surface next steps, and coach you — with every call automatically linked to the right deal in HubSpot. This page documents exactly how the HubSpot integration works, what data it accesses, and how to manage or remove it.

What the integration does

Connecting HubSpot gives every recorded call its full context. Kyosho reads your CRM so it can match each meeting to the correct opportunity and the people on the call, and present that context alongside your notes.

  • Links calls to deals — each meeting is attached to the right HubSpot deal, showing stage, amount, and history.
  • Identifies participants — recognizes the contacts and company on the call so notes are filed against the right records.
  • Owner-scoped views — maps each rep to their HubSpot owner so people see their own deals, and team metrics attribute correctly.
  • Activity timeline — reads engagements and tasks to build a complete history of every touch on a deal.
  • Account Brain — lets you ask questions about any deal across all of its calls and CRM context.

Read-only by design

Kyosho requests read-only access to HubSpot. It never creates, edits, or deletes any record, and it never writes data back to your CRM. Your HubSpot remains the single source of truth — Kyosho only reads it to enrich your meeting notes and surface deal intelligence inside the Kyosho app.

Scopes Kyosho requests

Kyosho requests only the minimum scopes needed to provide the features above:

  • crm.objects.deals.read — read deals to attach calls to the right opportunity and show pipeline context.
  • crm.objects.contacts.read — read contacts to identify who was on the call.
  • crm.objects.companies.read — read companies to recognize the account a deal belongs to.
  • crm.objects.owners.read — read owners to map each rep to their deals for owner-scoped views and team metrics.
  • oauth — the standard scope required to complete the secure OAuth connection.

Leads (optional). If — and only if — you tell Kyosho you work in the HubSpot Leads workspace, Kyosho additionally requests crm.objects.leads.readso it can include leads in your prospecting context. If you don't use Leads, this scope is never requested.

How to connect

  • Open the Kyosho desktop app and go to onboarding, or Settings → Connections.
  • Click Connect HubSpot. Kyosho opens HubSpot's secure authorization page in your browser.
  • Choose the HubSpot account to connect and approve the read-only access.
  • You're returned to Kyosho, which begins reading your pipeline so your calls link to the right deals.

How to disconnect

You can remove Kyosho's access to HubSpot at any time, in two ways:

  • From Kyosho — go to Settings → Connections and disconnect HubSpot.
  • From HubSpot — in your HubSpot account, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps, find Kyosho, and click Uninstall. This revokes Kyosho's access immediately.

How your data is handled

  • Used only to power your workspace — HubSpot data is used solely to provide Kyosho's features for you and your team. It is never sold, and never used for advertising.
  • Audio is never stored — when you record a call, Kyosho keeps only the text transcript and the notes generated from it; the audio is not uploaded or retained.
  • Security — connections use OAuth 2.0; access tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the client.
  • Deletion — when you disconnect HubSpot or delete your account, the associated CRM data and tokens are removed.
